1 What is the problem?
Early signs of ageing: dullness, mild fine lines, large pores and loss of firmness.
2 The science
The laser warms the dermis to around 40–45 °C without damaging the surface. This mild heat injury signals fibroblasts (collagen-making cells) to produce new collagen and elastin, gradually firming the skin.

3 Key points to remember
- Top layer stays intact
- Subtle, gradual results
- Suitable for most skin types
- Often used for maintenance
4 What happens during treatment
- 01
Skin is cleansed
- 02
Laser passes warm the skin
- 03
Mild redness for a few hours
- 04
Normal activities resume the same day
5 Possible risks
Temporary redness and swelling; rare pigment change. Correct settings, skin cooling and experienced hands reduce these risks.
Did you know? Fibroblasts — the collagen factories of the skin — are activated by controlled heat.
